MyMangaList

Legacy industry platforms like MyAnimeList (MAL) suffer from bloated, outdated user interfaces and sluggish database query performance.

I built MyMangaList because my friend group needed a cleaner, faster alternative. It strips away all the clutter and focuses on logging chapters and updating reviews without the headache.

HOW IT WORKS

The application acts as a streamlined community hub where keeping track of your reading queue takes seconds.

Users can add titles to their personal queues, log chapter progress on the fly, and move items seamlessly between active reading and completed lists.

The interface simplifies the reviewing process, encouraging friends to drop quick ratings and recommendations for the rest of the server to see. Everything updates instantly on the screen without annoying full-page refreshes, keeping the experience fast.
